L&T GeoStructure has secured several major infrastructure projects across India, further strengthening its position in large-scale foundation engineering, marine construction, and industrial development.
One of the biggest achievements is the company’s largest-ever piling contract, awarded by JSW Utkal Steel Ltd for its upcoming 10 MTPA integrated steel plant at Paradeep. The project includes nine major construction packages and covers piling work for critical units such as the Blast Furnace, Steel Melting Shop, and Hot Strip Mill.
The assignment involves executing nearly 30 lakh running metres of piling work within tight timelines, highlighting the massive scale of the project and its importance for India’s growing steel procurement and industrial infrastructure sector.
In another major development, L&T GeoStructure has won two engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts from the Inland Waterways Authority of India. These projects involve building advanced Ship Repair Facilities at Patna and Varanasi.
The facilities will include modern ship lift and transfer systems along with 800-tonne boat hoists designed to improve repair and maintenance operations for inland vessels. These projects are expected to strengthen cargo transportation and logistics efficiency along National Waterway-1 on the River Ganga, supporting sustainable infrastructure growth and smoother steel procurement and cargo movement networks.
Adding to its growing marine infrastructure portfolio, the company has also received a contract from the Mumbai Port Authority for the construction of India’s first yacht marina at Mumbai Harbour.
The marina project will feature advanced marine infrastructure including piled breakwaters, concrete pontoons, service platforms, gangways, and approach trestles to support safe and efficient yacht operations.
